We went outside this morning, and found our 5 year old Koi had finally died..... :( It was so sad.....but I guess that is another sign, that it is time to sale our home....:) Look how big the one is.....bigger than Travis's foot!!! It was HUGE!!!
Okay....I really have to figure this photo thing out, so everything is really backwards, and you get the end to the beginning.....:) I had the 2nd catch of the day, I couldn't let Tabitha take all the glory of being the only one catching a fish!!!

Tabitha was so excited when she was the 1st one to actually catch a fish.....we keep having nibbles, but never could get them hooked, until Tabitha had the lucky catch, (she claims it was because Tad and Sabrina went to play on the playground....:))

Silver Lake.....it was so pretty!!! Next time we will make a day of it, and go on the hike also!!!

This little potgut was so excited for the picnic basket, he wouldn't leave us alone.....he got so close at one point, I thought he would climb up on the kids just to get there food.....This was the funnest part of the kids day fishing............because this isn't working the way I wanted it to, this is first instead of last!!

Fishing at the Cove in Herriman.

Silver Lake

Okay, I am going to try this blogging thing again.....see if I can stick with it.... :) We have been having a rough couple of months, and have hopefully started the up hill turn, so our Goal this year is to try and go fishing each weekend, and go to different lakes around Utah....still no fish caught so the kids are bummed, and don't get as excited about fishing when they don't catch anything! Last week we went to Silver Lake up by Brighton, it was so pretty, and fun to fish there.....just no luck in catching any fish! Later that night we went to the Cove in Herriman and tried the evening fishing....we had lots of bites, we lost all our worms, but Tabitha and I finally caught a blue gill....not edible, but it was fun to have finally caught some sort of fish. We are hoping that one of these weekends we will be able to catch some edible fish, so we can bbq them up....MMM!!!!
